After lifting off the case, the computers innards are exposed. (Note: You want to have the computer unplugged before messing around inside) Also the CRT display can be very dangerous if the proper safety precautions aren't taken. If you drop the monitor it can impolde and shatter hurting you. I suggest you read this article at lowendmac.com.

After all this was done, I didn't have any other ideas of what to do, so I went straight to the motherboard which is just held by clips on either side and the wires to and from outlets. I unplugged the harddrive, floppydrive, and power to get it off.

(Just unclip and pull it out)

Here is a good shot of the side of the motherboard that faces up inside the computer. You can see that all the RAM slots are full with simms. The slot on the bottom is the ROM. The processor is the grayish outline with the golden inside, a 16mhz 68030.

Here is a good shot of it from the backside. The square shape of sodder bubbles is the back of the processor.

This is a shot of the sheet that covers the video side of the computer, it has places telling you where to turn if you want to focus the monitor or make it farther verticle or horizontal. It was held on by plastic buttons. These buttons were fairly easy. Note: To put them back in twist on the outside and pull out, then put them in.

Unfortunately this picture turned out blurry, but it shows the video side of the computer.
